Dr. Christoph Walke

Dr. Walke a suivi des études en génie électrique avec une spécialisation dans les technologies des télécommunications à la RWTH Aachen (Université technique de Rhénanie-Westphalie à Aix-la-Chapelle) (diplôme d’ingénieur en 1999 avec mention). Il a ensuite obtenu un doctorat à l’Institut d’ingénierie des hautes fréquences de la RWTH Aachen portant sur les systèmes radio avec accès multiple dans le domaine spatial, du code et du temps (obtention du titre de docteur en ingénierie en 2002 avec mention).

Il a terminé sa formation en droit de la propriété industrielle entamée la même année auprès de COHAUSZ & FLORACK après une période de formation auprès du tribunal de grande instance de Düsseldorf et auprès de l’Office allemand des brevets et marques et du Tribunal fédéral des brevets. Il est avocat spécialisé en propriété intellectuelle allemand et mandataire agréé auprès de l’Office de l’Union européenne pour la propriété intellectuelle (EUIPO) depuis 2006. Dr. Walke travaille depuis août 2006 au sein de COHAUSZ & FLORACK en tant qu'avocat spécialisé en propriété intellectuelle et il est associé depuis 2009.

Dr. Walke accompagne des entreprises allemandes et internationales dans tous les domaines de la protection de la propriété industrielle. Il dispose d’une expertise particulière dans la rédaction et le suivi des demandes de brevet (nationales et internationales) et dans les procédures concernant la validité des brevets délivrés, principalement dans le domaine des inventions techniquement complexes et pertinentes pour les normes. La représentation dans les procédures en contrefaçon et son activités en tant qu’expert indépendant pour les communautés de brevets font également partie de ses spécialités. Dr. Walke dispose en outre d’une expérience spécifique dans l’accompagnement des entreprises dans l’expansion des secteurs d’activité existants et l’acquisition de nouveaux secteurs d’activité au moyen des recherches Freedom-To-Operate et des examens de due-diligence.

Il compte parmi ses domaines de spécialisation les technologies des télécommunications, le traitement audio et vidéo, le traitement des données et les logiciels, la cryptographie ainsi que les technologies médicales.

Dr. Walke parle l’allemand et l’anglais.
