As a patent attorney at COHAUSZ & FLORACK, Dr. Wieland Fahr advises and assists well-known clients in all fields of IP law. His technical specialties include life sciences, biotechnology, organic chemistry, and food technology.
After completing his Master’s degree in biochemistry at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Dr. Wieland Fahr commenced his doctorate at the Technical University of Braunschweig in 2015. His dissertation in the Department of Biotechnology looked at a method for combining “phage display” and “mammalian cell surface display”, which can be helpful in researching proteins and developing new drugs. Dr. Wieland Fahr spent time researching at the company Roche in Penzberg, where he gained extensive industry experience.
He completed his patent attorney training with the patent attorney Taruttis in Hanover. He was admitted as a patent attorney in September 2023.
