Dr. Fabian Vogelbruch

As a patent attorney and partner at COHAUSZ & FLORACK, Dr. Fabian Vogelbruch advises national and international clients in all areas of intellectual property rights. His work focuses on the drafting and prosecution of national and international patent applications, proceedings for the validity of granted patents and patent infringement proceedings. In addition, he supports companies in the expansion of existing and the acquisition of new business areas through freedom-to-operate research and due diligence. He is an expert in the fields of communications engineering, audio processing, control engineering, circuit technology, data processing and software.

After studying electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen, Fabian Vogelbruch received his doctorate from the Chair of Integrated Systems at TU Munich. In 2005 he began his training in intellectual property law at COHAUSZ & FLORACK. Since 2009 he has been admitted as a German patent attorney and as a representative before the European Patent Office. Fabian Vogelbruch completed his training in intellectual property law with a master's degree in European intellectual property law. He also gained extensive experience in US patent law in a US law firm. He joined COHAUSZ & FLORACK as a patent attorney in 2009 and became a partner in the firm in 2014.
