“Companies are keen to innovate”

Hanover Trade Fair 2018: C&F draws positive conclusion

Düsseldorf, May 15, 2018 – Under the motto "Integrated Industry – Connect & Collaborate", the Hanover trade fair from 23 to 27 April provided information on the interaction between automation and energy technology, intralogistics, IT platforms and artificial intelligence. With 210,000 trade fair visitors and 5,800 exhibitors, the organizers drew a positive conclusion after five exciting days: "Once again, the trade fair week has shown that Hanover is the global hotspot for the digital transformation of the industry," said Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Executive Board of Deutsche Messe AG, at the end of the fair.

For the law firm Cohausz & Florack (C&F), the fair was once again a good opportunity to present itself and its services to a broad public. At the joint NRW stand in Hall 16, C&F provided information on the value of intellectual property and the benefits of intellectual property rights. "Companies are very keen to innovate – this was confirmed by the discussions at our stand," says Hendrik Bücker, Patent Attorney and Partner at C&F. "The pronounced inventive spirit is good for the economy and allows individual companies to survive in the competitive environment."

The visitors were particularly interested in the online platform "Daidalos", where numerous innovations – from technical marvels to practical everyday inventions – are presented (see www.daidalos.blog). Students had the opportunity to get in touch with C&F at the stand and to get to know the firm's fields of work better. Among other things, they learned that the career of a patent attorney is open to graduates of technical and scientific subjects and involves a wide variety of exciting tasks.
