Cohausz & Florack (C&F) continually enhances its electrical engineering section: On January 1 2014 Dr. Fabian Vogelbruch was appointed partner.

For the Düsseldorf based law firm he is now the 17th partner. The forty-year-old attorney has been working for the company since 2005 with special regard to the fields of communications engineering, data processing, circuit technology and software.  On behalf of C&F he recently represented the manufacturer Nokia in court against HTC in a long-term lawsuit. According to Vogelbruch, “cases of patent litigation such as these in the field of Smartphone technology are becoming more frequent. As a consequence, the demand on the part of our mandates is equally high. We offer expertise in this complex area with a skillful team of electrical engineers.” Since September 1 2013 thirty-year-old Matthias Waters belongs to the team’s patent attorneys.  After his studies of electrical technology at RWTH Aachen, he did a three-year training with C&F.
