Jan Ackermann has been a patent attorney since 2012 and a partner at COHAUSZ & FLORACK since 2017. He has extensive experience in national and international, in particular US, patent law. He advises medium-sized companies and corporations in all areas of intellectual property rights.

The clients of COHAUSZ & FLORACK particularly benefit from his expertise in the fields of automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, engines and machines, machine elements and manufacturing technology. He acquired this expertise in particular through his mechanical engineering studies at the RWTH Aachen and through past positions at companies and law firms in Germany and abroad.
