Lars Grannemann

Lars Grannemann specializes in information and communications technology, primarily in the fields of wireless networks, audio and video processing, data processing, and software. As a patent attorney at COHAUSZ & FLORACK, he advises German and international clients in all areas of IP law and assists in the management of their IP portfolios.

Lars Grannemann has completed a comprehensive degree in electrical engineering, information technology, and computer engineering. He studied at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (M.Sc.Eng) and the RWTH Aachen (M.Sc.) as part of the “Top Industrial Managers for Europe” dual Master’s degree program and graduated with distinction. Within his degree, he specialized in information and communications technology and wireless systems.

He then worked as a research engineer at the Institute for Networked Systems (iNETS) at RWTH Aachen University and conducted research and published in the field of wireless networks.

Lars Grannemann trained as a patent attorney at COHAUSZ & FLORACK, spending additional training periods at Düsseldorf Regional Court, the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, and the Federal Patent Court. He completed his patent attorney training in 2023 as the top trainee among all candidates in Germany and was admitted as a representative before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

Lars Grannemann has been working as a patent attorney at COHAUSZ & FLORACK since March 2024, supporting the electrical engineering team with his extensive expertise.

He advises clients in German and English.
