Dr. Romina Kühnle is an expert in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and life sciences with special experience in the field of polymer chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and metallurgy. As a patent attorney at COHAUSZ & FLORACK, she advises German and international companies in all matters relating to intellectual property rights. These include, in particular, patent infringement, validity and freedom-to-operate opinions as well as patent applications. She represents clients in examination, opposition, appeal and nullity proceedings before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office as well as before the Federal Patent Court.

After studying chemistry at the Philipps University Marburg with a focus on polymer chemistry, she earned her doctorate at the Max-Planck-Institut for colloid and interface research in Potsdam and at the Humboldt University Berlin in the field of self-organization of peptide-polymer conjugates.

Dr. Romina Kühnle has been admitted as a German patent attorney and representative before the European Patent Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) since 2017.
