Dr. Christoph Walke

El Dr. Walke cursó los estudios de ingeniería eléctrica con especialidad en tecnología de telecomunicaciones en la Universidad Técnica de Aquisgrán (diplomado en ingeniería con mención especial en 1999). A continuación se doctoró en el Instituto de Tecnología de Alta Frecuencia de la Universidad Técnica de Aquisgrán en sistemas de radio con acceso múltiple en la división de espacio, código y tiempo (finalizó su doctorado en ingeniería con mención especial en 2002).

Ese mismo año comenzó su formación en propiedad industrial en COHAUSZ & FLORACK, que compaginó con otros cursos en el tribunal territorial de Düsseldorf, en la Oficina Alemana de Patentes y Marcas y en la Corte Federal de Patentes. En 2006 finalizó su formación como abogado de patentes en Alemania y como representante autorizado ante la Oficina de Propiedad Intelectual de la Unión Europea (EUIPO). El Dr. Walke trabaja en COHAUSZ & FLORACK desde agosto de 2006 en calidad de abogado de patentes y de socio desde 2009.

Aquí asesora a empresas nacionales e internacionales en materia de propiedad industrial. Cuenta con especial experiencia en la gestión y seguimiento de solicitudes de patente (nacionales e internacionales) y en procedimientos relativos a la estabilidad jurídica de patentes concedidas, sobre todo en el ámbito de las invenciones técnicamente complejas y relevantes para el estándar. Asimismo, entre sus especialidades también figuran la representación en procedimientos de infracción de patente y la actividad como perito independiente para agrupaciones de patentes. El Dr. Walke también posee mucha experiencia en la asistencia mediante investigaciones de la libertad de acción y la diligencia debida a empresas en plena expansión de sus áreas de negocio o que están adquiriendo nuevas áreas de negocio.

Entre sus especialidades técnicas figuran la tecnología de telecomunicaciones, procesamiento de audio y vídeo, procesamiento de datos, software, criptografía y tecnología médica.
