Philipe Walter

アーヘン工科大学で電気工学専攻、専門分野は通信技術。1999年工学技士（Dipl.-Ing.）資格を得て卒業。 在学中の研究テーマは携帯電話通信技術が中心で、学位論文はドイツでも有数の携帯電話ネットワークのオペレータのサポートを得た。 COHAUSZ & FLORACKでの知的財産法の研修後も、さらに欧州知的財産法の修士号を得るべく勉学を積み、2002年ドイツ特許弁理士と欧州特許庁に対する代理人の資格を得て卒業。 2003年にCOHAUSZ & FLORACKに入社し2007年、パートナーとなる。

Philipeは国内外の知的財産法に関する全分野で国内外の企業の代理を務める。 クライアントは国際公共事業会社や自動車部品サプライヤーからハイテク関連ベンチャー企業まで広範囲にわたる。 ドイツの中規模企業の知的財産ポートフォリオの全事案を手掛ける他、Philipeは特許侵害、異議・無効申立の法的手続きカウンセリングを提供する。 そのためスマートフォーン製造会社間の様々な係争事件や自動車部品サプライヤー、またはセットトップボックス製造会社間の法的紛争にも弁護士として活躍する。 他方、Philipeはブルーレイ技術や国際ライセンシングプール関連の映像符号化における技術基準についての特許法問題も得意分野とする。
