Dr. Anne Frommelius
Career
Dr. Anne Frommelius studied chemistry at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. During her Master’s degree, she specialized in the field of inorganic chemistry/advanced materials. Her doctorate looked at the synthesis and characterization of phase change materials, which play an important role in, for example, data storage and retrieval. For her dissertation, Dr. Anne Frommelius conducted interdisciplinary research in the fields of electrical engineering, physics, and chemistry within Collaborative Research Centre 917: “Nanoswitches”. During this research, she developed wet-chemical syntheses of phase change materials as “colloidal, nanoscopic particles”. Dr. Anne Frommelius has published her research findings in numerous specialist articles and presented them at German and international conferences.
She began training as a patent attorney at COHAUSZ & FLORACK in June 2025 and has since been strengthening the firm’s “Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, and Life Sciences” department with her expertise.
Dr. Anne Frommelius speaks German and English.
