Björn Brouwers becomes partner at Cohausz & Florack
Düsseldorf, 02 December 2020 – Cohausz & Florack (C&F) is further expanding its team of partners: Björn Brouwers, a patent attorney at C&F since 2017, will become partner at the Düsseldorf office effective 1 January 2021. Brouwers, who studied electrical engineering, is a specialist in the areas of automation technology, control and regulation technology, electromobility, communications engineering and medical technology. He supports and advises well-known companies in the application, prosecution and enforcement of their intellectual property rights. In addition, he is an expert in all questions concerning design, trademark and employee invention law. "We are extremely pleased to have in Björn Brouwers another partner on board who will strengthen our electrical engineering team with his know-how", says Dr. Fabian Vogelbruch, patent attorney and partner at C&F.
With Björn Brouwers, the law firm will have 22 partners, which with a total of 28 lawyers is a quota of almost 80 percent. Such a high proportion is a rarity in the German law firm landscape. "As a partner, one tends to bring an even greater sense of responsibility and commitment into the firm", says Gottfried Schüll, patent attorney and partner of C&F. "These factors are reflected in the high quality of our legal work”.
