Düsseldorf, February 1, 2023 – The law firm Cohausz & Florack (C&F) is expanding again: Dr. Margarete Rittstieg joined the team in the field of mechanical engineering on January 1, 2023.

After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering with a specialization in mechanical engineering, Margarete Rittstieg completed her Master’s degree in aerospace engineering at RWTH Aachen University. In 2018, she earned her doctorate at the university’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. While completing her doctorate, she worked as a project manager and research assistant at the Chair for Production Systems of the Machine Tool Laboratory (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University. As part of this work, she managed consulting projects focusing on supply chain strategy, global footprint design, factory planning, and production logistics in manufacturing companies. She also worked in investor relations at e.GO Mobile AG (an electromobility start-up), where she gained extensive experience in due diligence audits, among other things. At DFA Demonstrationsfabrik Aachen GmbH, she worked in the field of further education and designed and carried out seminars on topics related to Industry 4.0.

Margarete Rittstieg is very familiar with life at C&F, where she completed her intellectual property law training before joining the firm as a patent attorney. “Dr. Margarete Rittstieg enriches our team with her strategic vision, outstanding commitment, and expertise, especially in the fields of general mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, packaging technology, and construction,” says her trainer Andreas Thielmann, patent attorney and partner at C&F. “We are looking forward to working with our new patent attorney and colleague – hopefully for a long time to come.”
