Cohausz & Florack moves into new office in Munich

"More space for increasing demand for IP consulting"

Düsseldorf, 04 December 2020 – The law firm Cohausz & Florack (C&F) has moved to new premises in Munich. Starting December 1, 2020, the firm can be found at the centrally located Stollbergstrasse 18 in the Altstadt-Lehel district.

C&F's previous location in Munich was in an office complex at Maximilianstrasse 13. With the move, the Munich team will now have a larger space at its disposal. "This will enable us to better meet the needs of our growing firm and our clients’ increasing demand for IP consulting", says Mathias Karlhuber, patent attorney and partner of C&F. Munich is a highly relevant place of jurisdiction for IP law. "It is particularly important as a firm to be well-positioned here. The move to Stollbergstrasse was therefore a sensible one for us", Karlhuber continues.

The new premises are part of the heritage-protected "Wohnhaus Blum", which was built by master stonemason Heinrich Blum in 1857. A characteristic feature of the building is the three-part façade made of light-colored stone and red brickwork. It is kept in the so-called Maximilian style, a neo-Gothic influenced style of architecture that was popular in Bavaria in the middle of the 19th century in the time of King Maximilian II. In this historically impressive building, the firm will continue to provide its clients with competent legal advice and support.
