Dr. Tobias Hoheisel has been a patent attorney with COHAUSZ & FLORACK since January 2018. Specializing in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, he advises German and international companies in all matters relating to intellectual property rights. He deals in particular with patent applications and infringement, validity and freedom-to-operate opinions and represents clients in opposition and nullity proceedings.
After studying chemistry and obtaining his doctorate at ETH Zurich and EPFL Lausanne, Tobias Hoheisel spent a good one and a half years as a post-doctoral fellow at Cornell University in the USA, supported by a grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
He has been admitted as a German patent attorney and as a representative before the European Patent Office and the Office of the European Union for Intellectual Property (EUIPO) since 2018.
