After graduating from the Höhere Technische Bundeslehranstalt für Bautechnik-Tiefbau in Graz (Austria), Dr. Eva Hasenhütl studied Mining and Metallurgical Machinery at the Montanuniversität Leoben (MUL) in Austria. During this time, she completed numerous technical internships in Austria and abroad, mainly in the fields of Structural Analysis and Structural Dynamics. After graduating with a M.Sc. degree in Mining and Metallurgical Machinery in October 2012, she worked as a project staff member at Materials Center Leoben Forschungs GmbH, a leading Austrian research company in the field of Materials Science, and as a research assistant at the Institute of Mechanics at MUL.

From October 2013 to March 2017, Eva Hasenhütl lived in Japan and, supported by a PhD scholarship from the Japanese government (Monbukagakusho / MEXT - Scholarship), did her PhD in the field of Fusion Reactor Materials Research at the Graduate School of Energy Science of Kyoto University. In her PhD thesis, she focused on the microstructural characterization and evaluation of near-surface hardness evolution of ion-irradiated Tungsten single crystals of different crystal orientations.

Following her doctoral studies in Japan, Eva Hasenhütl completed her training as a German patent attorney and representative before the European Patent Office at COHAUSZ & FLORACK.

Eva Hasenhütl successfully completed her training as a German patent attorney in 2021.

According to her qualification profile, the focus of her work now is mainly in the field of General Mechanics , Mechanical Engineering, Metal Forming Technology, Materials Science of Metals and Polymers and Civil Engineering.

Eva Hasenhütl speaks German and English and has basic knowledge of Japanese.
