Microsoft Sued for Infringement of HEVC Essential Patents

Düsseldorf, December 20, 2024, COHAUSZ & FLORACK, in cooperation with Krieger Mes, has been representing licensors in patent infringement actions for more than two decades – (see. HEVC Patent Enforcement Actions Settled or Hisense Enters into MPEG LA’s AVC Patent Portfolio License) - against so-called unwilling licensees of SEP pool licensing programs managed by Via LA, such as HEVC and AVC for video compression.
